Saturday, August 5, 2017 – Estherville Fire & Rescue – 8th Annual Water Fights – Registration at noon, Fights start at 1 p.m., 100 Block of 7th St (East of Courthouse) Leader Line will be first event followed by Women’s Waterfights with Men’s to follow afterwards. Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017 – Boxholm Fire Department water fights – Registration at noon with contests starting at 1 p.m. One division only. 1-1/2″ hose. Trophies 1st – 4th place. No entry fee. Saturday Sept 9th- Truro water fights. Registration at 2pm. Fights start at 3pm. Womens first with mens to follow. 1 1/2 for both mens and womens. Trophies for top 3 in each division. Water fights at the park in the center of town. Just come in on higway (cant miss it!) Truro is also having its annual Truro Feeding Frenzy this day. Fire Dept. will be having a pancake breakfast from 7a to 9:30. There will be big screens in the park to watch the Cy-Hawk game with food and the Iowa Beer Bus serving drinks. Music, kids tractor pulls, kids games, karaoke contest and more. Smoking cook off being served at 5pm and The Marshall County Hangmen playing at 8pm. Call Joe at 515-681-4612 with questions.
